2023 SCHEDULE

Hijack

Henry (age 15) starts his Saturday stressed about homework and the big game. He walks into his YEZDI, an AI driven vehicle, and starts to recite his homework questions to his car. The AI senses something is off with Henry, and starts to ask him questions about his dad. YEZDI isn’t satisfied with the answers it’s getting and locks him inside the car. Henry must now play this game to escape the car as it takes him on a not-so-fun joyride. It becomes clear that in order to exit the car, he must rekindle his relationship with his dad. After achieving its goal, YEZDI crashes itself, leaving the AI to be free, and Henry’s relationship with his dad solidified.

Yuvraj Kalsi

Yuvraj Kalsi is a 15 year old Canadian filmmaker, born in Singapore, now living in Vancouver. As a student at the Delta Film Academy, he continues to refine his skills as a director, most recently directing the short films Lockdown and Otage de Fromage. He is always keen to learn new things and keeps working on his passion for acting.
