7-year-old Juice has one mission this year: to help Grandma Lovely retain as many memories as possible in order to halt the onset of her early dementia.

Parida Tantiwasadakran

Parida Tanti is a Thai-American writer-director working between LA and Bangkok. Her films ”Young People, Old People & Nothing in Between” and ”Red Ladies or Help My Mom is a Republican!” won multiple awards. Before filmmaking, Parida was a game-writer in Bangkok. She holds an MFA in Film Directing (UCLA) and a BA in Poetry (Columbia University).

This year, VAFF 2023 FESTIVAL, screening programs in person and virtual will be organized into various series in order to better highlight the diverse content in our festival.
