Stephanie Sy is a Filipino-Chinese Filmmaker born and raised on Treaty No.1, Winnipeg. She Co-Directed the APTN series, DJ Burnt Bannock, was an Associate Producer on, Finality of Dusk, and was a 2021 recipient of the The Harold Greenberg Fund where she wrote, directed & produced her first short film, Knots.

This year, VAFF 2023 FESTIVAL, screening programs in person and virtual will be organized into various series in order to better highlight the diverse content in our festival.
