Int’l Feature Narrative | MAALI

Tulsi lives amidst nature in the mountains with her grandfather Basant, treating nature as their companion. When Tulsi befriends Sakshi who suffers from mental health issues and has a strained relationship with her husband, she accompanies her into the city where Tulsi faces challenges that are alien to her life.

Shiv C Shetty

Shiv is a self-taught filmmaker who won best director for his debut feature film MAALI at the Queens World Film Festival. He worked on creating India’s first transgender band “6 Pack Band” which won Glass Lions Grand Prix at Cannes Lions 2016. Shiv is now a director with Heart-Art Productions.
