Closing Spotlight Film – Animation Feature | Gonta

On March 11, 2011, a major earthquake hit. Hoping they could return soon the family evacuated, leaving their pet, Gonta, behind. However, a nuclear plant accident prevented their return. Volunteers saved Gonta, but his remaining time was limited.

AKIO NISHIZAWA

Akio Nishizawa was born in Tokyo and is 81 years old. At the age of 60, he ventured into anime production, transitioning from the field of education. He aims to create works that are closer to live-action rather than manga-like anime characterized by exaggerations and omissions.
