Canadian Documentary Feature | Finding Freedom

Finding Freedom: The endless pursuit of an elusive dream, is a documentary film that reveals the grim challenges faced by refugees seeking asylum. With mobile phones provided by the filmmakers, the four main characters reveal truths about their lives now, all while in detention.

Alan Goldman

Alan Goldman is a writer/director and founder of Blue Plate Productions, which secializes in creating documentaries. He completed his MAA at Emily Carr University of Art & Design focusing on Stereoscopic 3D and its effect on documentary filmmaking. Currently he is Industry Liaison, Research at Emily Carr University,
